This workshop offers a hands on introduction to the intaglio printing process.

Intaglio involves etching a design into a ‘plate’ which is then inked. The surface is then wiped clean, leaving ink only in the etched/sunken areas. The plate is then squeezed against paper through the roller printing press, and the image transferred to the paper.

The process is really fun and experimental, and in this beginners workshop you will produce several prints of your own to take home and be proud of!

As always, my workshops are small (maximum of 6) and all are welcomed! Grab a friend and BYOB for a fun and creative evening!

Definitely dress to make mess, as this one is INKY! All materials included.

9 hours of guided life drawing of the human form.

This course will run on Thursday evenings on the following dates:

Feb 5th 7-9pm
Feb 12th 7-9pm
Feb 26th 7-9pm
Mar 5th 7-10pm

Each session will have a different model, including both females and males. I am running these classes alongside fellow artist Chris Sims, who will be guiding the sessions. Life drawing is a very mindful and relaxing practice, where you will develop your skills in observation and expression in a calm and creative environment.

The course fee includes all materials, you will receive a folio to keep including paper and a variety of drawing materials. Refreshments also provided.

No experience necessary, this session is open to all skill levels.

In this course of adult art club we will focus on collage, my favourite!

During this structured workshop we will explore the fundamentals of collage techniques through a range of playful exercises and prompts, before creating your own finished artwork to be proud of! Our theme for these sessions will be playing cards.

I will be sharing my creative process as a collage artist and helping you to develop your own style, whilst sharing my vast collection of vintage and contemporary ephemera, books and papers with you! As always, my workshops are small (maximum of 6) so ensure you book promptly, and all are skill levels are welcomed!
