MONDAY ART CLUB: up to yr 6

Monday afternoons: 4pm-5pm
2nd, 9th, 16th 23rd & 30th Nov, & 7th Dec
MONDAY ART CLUB is a relaxed term time art club in my studio, providing a welcoming creative space filled with a wide range of art materials.
Each half term will have a special artist focus. The studio will be full of examples of the artist’s work, and the children will have the opportunity to experiment with relevant styles and techniques.
The idea is that the children be exposed to a variety of different artists and illustrators, and are given the chance to explore a range of relevant materials at their own pace during the 6 weeks. The artists featured will not always be well known, in fact I aim to specifically include some of my favourite, interesting and lesser known artists and their work. As a collage artist with a background and education in a variety of creative subjects from fine art, animation, theatre puppetry to graphic design, the children can expect the unexpected!
As always there will be guided activities and project ideas on offer but I also support a freestyle approach, so that there is freedom to create in their own way and follow their own curiosity, with my support and guidance.
Small groups of maximum 7 always.
